After debutant director Balakrishnan’s sweet romantic movie, ‘Cheeni Kum’, Big B and Tabu haven’t paired up in any other movie. Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s ‘The Legend of Kunal’, produced by AB Corp in association with Reliance’s Big Entertainment, is throwing these two stars together.

The Legend is a period piece on the life of the Mauryan King Ashoka. Big B is, of course, going to be playing the valiant king, and Tabu has signed on to play the role of Ashoka’s young and assertive wife Tishyarakshita. The film’s focus is Ashoka’s relationship with his son Kunal. Though the project was slated to start shooting in June, it’s been postponed to November.
