Vijay’s 50th film Urimai Kural
Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film will be produced by the veteran Sangili Murugan. After using an MGR title for his 49th film Vettaikaran, Vijay is once again going for an old title.
Sangili Murugan has gone and registered the old MGR film title Urimai Kural for Vijay‘s Golden Jubilee film. The 1974 film directed by the late C.V Sridhar, had MGR, Latha and Nambiar in the lead with music by M.S.Viswanathan.
Vijay’s preference for old MGR titles is well known and Urimai Kural has tremendous title value and is a fitting name for his 50th film. Though Kollywood grapevine has it that Perarasu is the chosen one to direct the film based on a script written by S.P Rajkumar, sources close to the development say nothing has been confirmed yet.
