Talking about the importance given to the female protagonist in director Imtiaz Ali’s movies, Deepika Padukone commented saying that in Imtiaz Ali’s previous hit ‘Jab We Met’ Shahid Kapoor also gave a good performance, but may be his acting went unnoticed.
