Choreographer Actor Lawrence to be honoured
The choreographer hero Lawrence Raghavendra will be honored by the Tamil Nadu Government on the Independence Day with the ‘Humanitarian’ award.
The actor is known for his humanitarian and philanthropic activities. He runs homes for the physically challenged and recently conducted a dance programme for them. His trust looks after numerous orphans at his home in Ashok Nagar.
According to a Tamil Nadu government press release, the award will be conferred on him during the Independence Day celebrations by the Chief Minister.
Lawrence said he was happy to get the award and expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and said he would continue with his good work.
