Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s 50 years in Film industry is planned to be celebrated in a grand manner. Vijay TV has been nominated to do this. Many celebrations are planned with activities across the state. There would be a ‘Kamal Bus’ that would travel across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka with rare photographs from Kamal’s life displayed. Also the team has plans of conducting an Iyal Isai Nadaga Thiruvizha and a discussion about Kamal’s Tamil literature and a musical night with Kamal’s love songs. The TV channel also has plans of organizing a film festival for 3 weeks in partnership with Sathyam Cinemas.

The events and celebrations will go on for a month with biography of our star being aired on television and finally conclude with a mega event in Chennai in September where film stars from Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will join together and salute Dr. Kamal Haasan.
