The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies are in advanced state of negotiation to buy Producer-Director Lingusamy’s Paiyya.

Though this is still not confirmed, it is good news for Lingu and Karthi, as the film will release big and give that extra edge to Paiyya, which trade feels has come out really well.

Recently a few scenes, a song and the trailer of the film was shown to a select preview audience who simply loved it.

The film is almost 85 percent complete except for a song and few scenes. If Udhayanidhi buys the film it will be the big Pongal 2010 release.

Mallika Sherawat has gone under the knife after Kangana Ranaut. Mallika has undergone lip surgery. Her lower lip appears fuller and her upper lip seems distorted. She had done the changes for a new Hollywood film that she has signed recently.

A Source says, “She was waiting for the shooting of Hissss to end.  After that, she was to start shooting for her new Hollywood film. Mallika wants to look the part and that’s why she had her lips done, while she was in India. She was here for more than a month. In fact, she was supposed to leave more than two weeks ago but left for LA only last week.”

Her brother Vikram Singh refutes the charge, “What rubbish! Mallika is the same as ever before. I would have definitely known had she done something.”

The actress is presently shooting in Los Angeles for a film inspired by San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Devi Harris.

However Mallika was unavailable for comments.

Kareena Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan will be seen together in Shahrukh’s home production Ra.One, which is about a flying superhero. The two leading actors had appeared together in 2001 for ‘Asoka’ which bombed at the boxoffice. After that Kareena has only done two item numbers for SRK – one in ‘Don’ and the other in ‘Billu Barber’.

The latest reports say that she has finally given the nod for the lead role opposite SRK in this sci-fi venture from Red Chillies provided some major scripts changes are made. She does not want to be known as ‘King Khan’s flop Queen’. Therefore, she wanted a much meatier part in this film.

Kareena will be doing some very good stunts in the film apart from flying in the skies and saving people. Production will begin end of this year and the film is expected to be shot in USA. It should probably hit the screens for Diwali 2010.
