Shahrukh in Xtreme City
Hollywood screenplay writer Paul Schrader is making a film based on Mumbai underworld and has decided to cast Shahrukh Khan in the same. Shahrukh is said to have given the nod for this.
Schrader who has written Taxi Driver and American Gigolo, has collaborated with Mushtaq Sheikh and Anubhav Sinha, to make the mafia flick titled Xtreme City, and is going to be made with a budget of USD 10 million.

Schrader recently said, “Spending time in India and working with a Bollywood talent like Shiekh has inspired and excited me to make a film accessible and meaningful to both Indian and American cultures.”
It is learnt that Shahrukh Khan has given his nod to star in the film as Mushtaq is a close friend, who wrote the screenplays for ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Billu’ and is also working on SRK’s under-production sci-fi thriller ‘Ra1’.
‘Xtrme City’ will be made keeping in mind the choice of the domestic and international audiences. It is an action thriller based on the backdrop of criminal orbit of Mumbai.
