Kandein Kadhalai’s comedy by Santhanam
Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met did not have a separate comedy track bu its Tamil version Kandein Kadhalai has a full length comedy by Santhanam. Director Kannan revealed that the heroine’s uncle would feature in just a single scene in the Hindi version but it has been converted to a full length role to make the film hilarious.
Kandein Kadhalai’s story is based in the Theni region in Tamil Nadu and several festivities and cultures belonging to that region have been incorporated in the film to make it look like a complete Tamil film and not a remake, he adds. Kandein Kadhalai stars Bharath and Tamanna in the lead roles.
