Cricketer becomes lead actor
Former Indian cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh is ready to start his innings as actor with Tamil films. He was seen as Jayam Ravi’s brother in Santosh Subramaniam movie. The cricketer will soon be playing the lead role in a Tamil film titled Patta Patti 50-50.
Ramesh is said to have undergone training to hone his acting skills. The smart cricketer says that he was approached by several directors and producers in the past but he decided to wait for a script that suited him.
Sources say that the film will be shot entirely in Madurai. Patta Patti 50-50 will be produced by Sanraa Media in association with Flicker Studios. The film will mark the debut of Yuvaraj, who has worked as assistant to Jayam Raja and Simbu Devan.
