Actor-director-producer Sasikumar is keeping the first cheque safe at his house. He is preserving that first pay cheque without cashing it. And adding to this interesting news is that the cheque was given to him by actor Vikram.
This happened even before Sasikumar’s Subramaniapuram released. Sasi who acted, directed and produced Subramaniapuram, had no idea that the movie was going to be quite the blockbuster that it turned out to be. However, it was actor Vikram who saw the spark in Sasikumar and was eager to work with him. As a sort of advance booking of Sasikumar’s directorial services, Vikram promptly handed the man a cheque – which Sasikumar hoards, adamant to retain it for sentimental reasons!
