Gauthami moves to small screen
It’s been usual for actresses to move to television after their market goes down in the film industry. And now it’s the turn of yesteryear’s gorgeous actress of South Indian film industry Gauthami to step into small screen. The actress will play the lead in the mega serial titled ‘Abirami’. As the title implies, the series is produced by Abirami Ramanathan and the series was launched this morning at Abirami Megamall.
Kamal Haasan switched on the camera while Tamil film producers council gave the first clap. Amirtham of Kalaignar TV, Khushboo, Kasturi Raja, Kutty Padmini, Kalpana, VC Guhanathan, TV actor Srinivasan, KRG, Kalaipuli Thanu and Kalaipuli Sekar were present for the occasion.

The creative head for this serial is Kutty Padmini and her daughter has penned the script and screenplay for this serial.
Abirami Ramanathan expressed his determination over churning out more and more TV series of this sort.
The series will be aired on Kalainyar TV and rest of the details will be announced shortly.
