A R Rahman has one Golden Globe and two Academy Awards for the musical score in the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire. Now the Indian musician has secured two nominations at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

The hit song Jai Ho is nominated in the category of ‘Best Song written for Motion picture, Television or Other Visual Media’ and the other nomination is for the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ score in the category of ‘Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media’.

The 2010 Grammy night will take place in Los Angeles on 31st January.
