The Tamil remake of Telugu superhit Arya is ready for Pongal release. It will compete with Karthi’s Aayirathil Oruvan and Vishal’s Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai. Kutty, the Tamil version of Arya has Dhanush and Shriya Saran in the lead which is directed by Mithran Jawahar.

It is also said that the audio release of Kutty will be in December. The audio is a much expected because in Yaaradu Nee Mohini the team had used the services of Yuvan Shankar Raja and the songs turned out to be chartbusters, while for Kutty Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.

Previously Goa and Asal were also expected to be released for Pongal. But due to certain reasons, both the films’ release has been pushed back. There are also reports that Asal could make it for Republic Day.
