Vijay’s 50th film Sura’s distribution rights has been bought by Sun Pictures for an astounding Rs 32 Crores. Not just this, it’s also quite unusual of Sun to procure the rights of a movie while it’s still under production. Sun Pictures also owns the distribution rights of Vijay’s Vettaikaaran which is being released on December 18.

Sura, the 50th film in Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s career, is directed by S P Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. Touted to be a comic caper, Sura has Tamannah cast opposite Vijay. Vadivelu, a staple in Vijay movies is also present.
