Lingusamy’s next plans after Paiyya
Paiyya director Lingusamy is planning to remake this upcoming film in Telugu and Hindi. According to the director, he plans to remake the film once the Tamil version is out. Lingusamy says that Payya is made on a budget of about Rs. 20 crores. He, however, was not forthcoming on the other details about the remake.
The director says that though Payya is of the romance-action genre, it will also have a suspense element that will attract the audience.

He also revealed that since Karthi’s Aayirathil Oruvan is intended for a Pongal release, Payya will hit the screens a month later.
