It looks like Gautham had scripted Ajith a gangster story and now it is speculated that the director has changed his mind. The Ajith – Gautham Menon film will not be a gangster movie and that the director has prepared a fresh script. This will be a cop tale and Ajith’s latest looks during the Asal audio launch confirms this.

The change is said to have happened as Ajith’s Asal is touted to be a gangster flick and two movies of the same genre back-to-back might make the fans lose interest. The actual storyline, however, will be known only when Gautham himself confirms it.

With Ajith free of Asal’s commitments and Gautham of VTV, the new project is expected to go on floors anytime soon.
