Vijay in Tamil Bodyguard
Sources say that Malayalam superhit film Bodyguard is to be remade in Tamil with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role. The actor is said to be impressed by the storyline and its success in Malayalam. We also hear that Vijay could move on to this remake after wrapping up his 50th film Sura. Directed by Siddique, Bodyguard had Dileep and Nayanthara in the lead role.
There is indeed a strong competition in the film industry for procuring the rights of Bodyguard. The Hindi rights are said to have been lapped up by producer Boney Kapoor.
