Vijay in 3 Idiots Tamil version
It is reported that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will play the role of Rancho in the Tamil version which was originally played by Aamir Khan. Gemini Film Circuit has bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of Rajkumar Hirani directed 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinodh Chopra recently.
There are few reports saying Vijay loved 3 Idiots and agreed to do it without any change in the story. Also director Vishnuvardhan was rumoured to wield the megaphone, but said to have declined, citing other commitments in Telugu. It is also said that camera will be handled by Ratnavelu and music is likely to be scored by Vijay Antony. The original Shantanu Moitra music with chart-busters like ‘Aal Izz Well’ and ‘Zoobie Doobie’ will be retained.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that Sathyaraj has agreed to play the role of Viru Sahastrabudhhe or Virus, as he was called in the film. Jiiva has agreed to play the role of Raju, played by Sharman Joshi. Farhan’s role (played by Madhavan in the original) is likely to be played by an upcoming star. Vijay will not be best suitable for that role… i cannot even imagine him in that role…
Original 3 Idiots is a very nice movie.. if vijay acts in the tamil version.. he will have 3 Kuthu songs & 4 fight scenes to satisfy his fans..(who are the real idiots)
That too in that kuthu song, dance master will come and dance with vijay..

I agree with Bottle Mani. Amirkan inspired me a lot in that movie.
Addition to Mani’s points, If Vijay playing the role, he will put some punch dialoge all over the film and total film will be atter flop. Don’t waste fantastic movie with unsuitable actors.

it seems the tamil version is going to be titled ‘MUTTALkaaran’…..but some of the fans did not like it so they are thinking of changing it to ‘IDIOTkaaran’…..meanwhile some idiotic Prithviraj fans are passing the rumour that the title is ‘KABODHIkaaran’…..ultimately those who want to suggest a name can send an email to our beloved izhayathalapathi saar……whatever be the name, please see that it has “kaaran” at the end.

When I saw his sequence, Poove unakkaaga, Love today, Kaadhalukku mariyadhai, Priyamudan etc, I thought Tamil industry got a very fine artist who can be suitable for any kind of role. Now I should take back my thought. Vijay unnecessarily got into masala world and he just could not come out of it. He really got talent and I would like to see his old face. Never Matter that Vijay will suit or not but when a talented director leads the film then sure will be an Hit. But Vijay should not suggest the director to a introduction song, heroism, and punch dialogues and over acting sometimes. It should be the completely the director’s choice and he should not interefere as he did to one famous legend director(dont wanna mention name) by giving his CD’s.
Vijay fans – i know that u all love him but kindly advice him to get on to the serious subjects though its commercial movie advice him not to get and give chances to the new directors untill they have proved before.
Look Suraa – director first movie, ATM(No body knows the director), vettaikara(he was an assistant director), and same goes to Thirumalai, so manyy.
He should apporach or never miss offers from Murugadass, Goutham, Amir, Shankar, Mani G, Bala, Sasi and there are few more who makes the story interesting and introduicng new heroes and running successfully

I am sure that 3 idiots tamil remake will be a huge hit if vijay and surya act in it. Because these 2 heroes already acted together and both became mega hit movies. There s also an extra information that jeeva also going to act in this movie. It is a reality that some of the films of vijay did’nt do well in the box office. But it does not mean that vijay is a bad actor. he has given a lot of block busters to the tamil industry like. “tullathe manavum thullum, khushi, priyamanavale,friends, gilli, pokkiri, etc are some among them. nobody can suggest the name of any other actors for the role he has played in this films. Every body will face success and failore in their career. no body is free from that. i am sure that VIJAY WILL ROCK IN THIS FILM
