Mani Ratnam’s next film Kadal will feature, Karthik’s son Gautham and Radha’s younger daughter, Thulasi making their debut in films. Tamil industry would remember that Karthik and Radha started their acting career together in Bharathiraja’s Alaigal Oyvadillai. And now its time for their children to make their entry into films together.

Previously Mani also considered Kamal’s daughter Akshara and Parthiban’s daughter, Keerthana who worked with Mani in Kannathil Muthamittal. now things have been confirmed and Thulasi will be the heroine opposite Gautham. Arjun is also playing an important role in Kadal.
