Superstar Rajinikanth’s younger daughter and superhit film Goa’s producer Soundarya Rajinikanth is set to wed businessman Ashwin Ramkumar on September 2nd 2010. Their engagement was held at Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai on February 17th and the wedding date was not disclosed. Now it is officially anounced that wedding will take place on Sep 2 at Raja Muthiah Hall in Chennai.

Previously there were speculations that Soundarya would enter wedlock after completing her dream project Sultan – The Warrior. With the announcement of the wedding date, looks like Sultan – The Warrior will be out soon.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty launched her latest venture, a new club in Mumbai with her businessman hubby, Raj Kundra. The launch of the club, Royalty had her friends and colleagues from the B – town like Sanjay Dutt, Manyata Dutt, Fardeen Khan, David Dhawan, Amisha Patel, and Karan Johar in the guest list. In spite of Rajasthan Royals’ loss, Shilpa was all geared up to celebrate the opening of her club.

Kareena Kapoor became an aunt again when her sister Karisma Kapoor gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

“I am thrilled to become a maasi again! I have just come back from the hospital. Lolo (Karisma) and the baby are healthy and fine. We are having a huge family get-together. Mom, dad, Samaira, Sanjay (Lolo’s husband), Saif and I are having a lovely family time together,” informed Kareena.

Bebo is so happy at her nephew’s birth that she has either cancelled or postponed all her impending work assignments by a week.

“Yes I have! Nothing – not even work can come between my babies and me! I love babies and I just can’t wait to hold Lolo’s baby in my arms and play with him. When Lolo is busy with the baby, Mom and I will take turns to baby sit Samaira.”

“I am looking forward to this break with great pleasure! I have already shopped for the baby’s clothes and toys and looking forward to giving them to him. This break is also a great way of my entire family coming together and bonding in a big way” adds Kareena, excitedly.
