There was a big surprise waiting for Kareena in the form of a parcel when the actress was not at home. It was Kareena’s staff who was surprised to find that the courier addressed to the actress contained a gold and diamond set worth Rs. 5 lakhs. There was a solitary ring which is estimated to be Rs. 3 lakhs. The actress was later informed about the queer parcel.

The lady ordered the staff to hand over the parcel to the police and have it investigated. Reportedly, a letter which accompanied the parcel stated that the jewelry had been bought in Dubai and was a gift to the actress.

Actress Nandita Das who is from Delhi base was not ready to move to Mumbai to pursue her acting career even after Aamir Khan her co-star in 1947 Earth tried to. Now, Nandita has finally made Mumbai her home, after her recent marriage to environment entrepreneur Subodh Maskara.

Confirming the news, she sighs, “What I resisted doing for 13 long years has finally been done. I couldn’t imagine shifting to Mumbai for my career, but love did it.” Subodh was introduced to Nandita by her friend Shahana Goswami (whom she directed last year in Firaq) and her boyfriend Milind Soman.

Nandita and Subodh got married according to Ashram Vidhi rites on January 2 at Subodh’s residence in Worli, which is now their marital home. “Only our parents – his parents and brother, my parents and my brother were there for the marriage. And of course, Shahana and Milind, who brought us together. We couldn’t possibly get married without them,” adds Nandita.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film Sura is coming up at a rapid speed. With Sun Pictures bagging the rights, this film will see the cute Tamannah casting opposite Vijay for the first time.

The film’s shooting has been progressing for quite some time. The unit has now moved on to Pondicherry where they will be camping for the next five days. Sources say that Tamannah and Vijay will be shooting for some important scenes. Also, a very vital fight between Vijay and the film’s villain Dev Gill will be shot here.
