Few days back director Vishal Bharadwaj had flown in to Kerala to meet Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. It was said that the director narrated a story and the actor was impressed with that. The latest development says that Mohanlal has been signed in to play Priyanka Chopra’s husband in the film titled Seven.

According to sources, Priyanka will have seven husbands in the film and Mohanlal is one among them. The director is also said to have signed Hrithik Roshan for one of the characters.

The shooting of ‘Seven’ is expected to kick start in March next year.

Bollywood director Anurag Basu who was at the 11th Mumbai Film Festival (MFF) to catch up on foreign movies says that Indian films are screened at various international festivals and do good business abroad but still they are yet to go global as they are not widely watched by the foreign audiences.

Basu says “We assume that our films are going global through these kind of festivals but other than NRIs no one watches them abroad. Films are released abroad, making good business but that doesn’t mean that they are going global.”

The director, whose much talked about Kites is ready for release, is happy that MFF is bringing in world cinema to the city.

When asked about his forthcoming film Kites starring Hrithik Roshan, he said, “the film is complete and I am waiting for the prints.”

The world’s most beautiful woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrates her birthday today and has turned 36 year old.

Before starting out in Bollywood, Aishwarya did some modeling and then went on to win the Miss World title in 1994. She made her debut in Maniratnam’s Iruvar, but won her first filmfare Best Actress Award for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
