It’s the time for the actors to turn singers in the South. After Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Simbu and Vikram, Dhanush had moved to playback singing with his brother Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan. This actor has recently sung for Arya starrer Madarasa Pattinam.

Actor Dhanush

Dhanush has sung the song along with veteran music composer M S Viswanathan. The movie directed by ‘Kireedam’ fame Vijay, and music composed by G V Prakash Kumar. A film set in pre-independence era, Madarsa Pattinam is touted to be a different attempt, from the filmmaker’s earlier venture Kireedam and Poi Solla Porom. Kalpathi S Aghoram is producing the movie at a whopping budget.

Actor Prithviraj

Even Malayalam Actor Prithviraj has joined the playback singing. He has sung a song for his new Malayalam film Puthiya Mugham under the baton of music director Deepak Dev. After dubbing for the film in Kochi, Prithvi moved in to Chennai and sung the title song at Deepak’s studio in Saligramam.

Prithvi was initially doubtful of his capabilities of rendering a full song and finally on Dev’s encouragement, he sang the melodious title song written by Kaithapuram Damodaran Namboothiri, the Vairamuthu of Malayalam film songs.

Finally, after their prolonged relationship Jeyam Ravi has tied wedding knot to Aarthi. The wedding ceremony was held on June 4th in the presence of well-renowned celebrities of Tamil film industry at Park Sheraton Hotel, Chennai.

Most of the South Indian Film celebrities were present to bless the couples. Few of them were Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Khushboo, Sundar C, Jayaram, Arjun, Radhika Sarathkumar, Meena, Mohan, Sibiraj, Manjula Vijayakumar, Sridevi Vijayakumar, SPB Charan and many others.

It was Imran Khan who convinced his producers of Luck to let his childhood friend Shruti Haasan out of the contract that she had with them and sign other films till her luck shines.

Now seems Shruti is consciously trying to move away from Bollywood to do other things that interest her than wait for things to happen in Bollywood, with father Kamal Haasan pleased with the music that she has scored for his film the Unnai Pol Oruvan she is giving music another serious shot. She has been busy with several meetings with dad to fine tune and add some nuances to the music. That has encouraged her to go out there on her own and make further foray in the music world. 

It is also said that she’s coming up with a fusion music show with her rock band and will be touring across the country in the coming months.
